Romspen Is In Trouble Financially Says Google AI

Google Artificial Intelligence Bots Agree Romspen Is In Trouble Financially. Why Is Wesley Roitman In Denial About Romspen’s Insolvency On The Horizon?

Rompsen is in troubleHave you ever googled, “Is Romspen In Trouble?” or “Romspen is in trouble!”

If you think Romspen management are a bunch charlatans and thieves, you’re in for quite the unexpected surprise. Over the past several weeks something unusual pops up at the top of search. Google’s artificial intelligence bots are now chimes in with their opinion to the question.

Here’s what they have to say when ask, “Is Romspen in trouble?”:

Yes, private mortgage lender Romspen has faced several challenges in recent years, including:

  • Loan defaults

Romspen is in a court battle with its largest borrower over loan defaults totaling $333 million.

  • Redemption freeze

In November 2022, Romspen halted all investor redemptions, a move known as “gating” in the investment industry.

  • Monthly distribution cuts

Romspen has cut its monthly distribution multiple times, meaning investors earn much less yield.

  • Construction loan commitments

As of June 30, 2023, Romspen had unfunded construction loan commitments worth US$411 million and $245 million.

  • Foreclosure attempts

Romspen has to go to court every time it tries to foreclose on a property. For example, Romspen attempted to foreclose on Ali Choudhri’s office in Houston, Texas, but Choudhri filed an emergency temporary restraining order to block the foreclosure.

  • Quebec tax authorities search
Quebec tax authorities searched Romspen’s head offices.
  • Romspen’s portfolio is largely made up of construction and predevelopment loans, and it lends to borrowers across the United States and Canada.
If the Google AI bots are saying Romspen is in trouble, they probably are. Yet, Romspen Managing Partner Wesley Roitman seems to be in denial about Romspen’s insolvency on the horizon.
Let that be a warning to all you amateur investors out there. STAY AWAY FROM ROMSPEN!
