Romspen Attorney And BCLP Partner Christian Poland Is Setting Up Morbidly Obese Miami Attorney Ezequiel Romero To Be His Patsy

Every law firm or corporation needs a patsy when things don’t go right. It looks like powers at be at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) have found one in Miami Attorney Ezequiel Romero.

If the morbidly obese Romero is fat, drunk and stupid or just a corporate suck up is anyone’s guess. It’s obvious that his Chicago colleague Christian Poland is setting him. Poland is setting Romero up to be his patsy in one of their cases. That case is with their client Romspen. Things are going well for Romspen in the case. BCLP wants a someone to blame if they lose their civil case against blogger Steve Dibert.

Poland is a partner at BCLP’s Chicago office. He is also lead counsel in Canadian lender Romspen’s defamation lawsuit against blogger and mortgage fraud expert Steve Dibert. From the beginning the inter-office politics at BCLP played a major role in the suit.

Corporate Politics At Work

Former BCLP attorney Kevin Arocha filed Christian Poland’s original written complaint in June 2023. BCLP leadership did it this way because Poland was and is not licensed to practice law in Florida.

About nine months into litigation, Arocha quit working for BCLP. It initially appeared that Arocha left the firm under a shroud of mystery. However, sources at BSLP’s Miami office say it was more sinister. Apparently, Arocha figured out Christian Poland was setting him up to be the fall guy with Romspen. Arocha to his credit had enough insight to jump ship.

So, Poland and BCLP had to find a replacement in Miami and they had to fast. If not, Poland would lose his Pro Hac Vice status. The case would fall apart and BCLP would lose their idiot of a cash cow of a client.

Miami Attorney Ezequiel Romero Becomes Christian Poland’s Fat Gullible Sidekick

Christian Poland needed a sidekick or at minimum a foil to file documents with the court on his behalf. So, BCLP brought in a young newly hired associate in their Miami office named Ezequiel Romero.

Romero’s Latin co-workers at BCLP affectionately refer to rotund lawyer as “Diabeto.”

It’s no wonder why. Sources at BCLP say the morbidly obese lawyer scarfs down a KFC bucket full of Chicharrones for lunch every day. He then washes it down with a 2-liter bottle of Coke.

For those of you unaware what Chicharrones are, Chicharrones are a popular Latin American snack. Well in this case, Romero turns it into a massive artery clogging meal.

Chicharrones are typically made of fried pork belly fat. Although tasty, they are horrible for your health.

Mentally Disturbed Lawyer Christian Poland Ghost Writes Romero’s Filings

As soon as Romero signed on to the case against Dibert, filings in the case began appearing from Romero. However, court filings and Bar Complaints filed against Christian Poland show Poland was ghost writing the motions. In one email, Poland even instructs his paralegal in Chicago to file it using Romero’s PACER account to, “avoid controversy.”

If you read the filings, they obviously written by Christian Poland. How? These filings have all the earmarks of Poland’s penchant for unproven conspiracy theories and nonsensical rants. You know, all the markings of someone with severe mental illness or a substance abuse problem.

Why would Christian Poland file motions under Romero’s name? Simple. Poland knows his future legal career is in jeopardy and because Romspen will more than likely lose their suit. Worse of all, they will have to pay Dibert’s legal fees.

So, if Romspen loses their lawsuit, Poland can claim deniability and blame Romero. Thus, making Romero his patsy.
