Romspen investors need to be at 2025 Romspen Mortgage Investment Fund Annual Meeting on June 24th. Romspen has booked the Courtyard Hall at the Courtyard Marriot Toronto Downtown Hotel.

Why? Well, it appears it will be more doom and gloom like last year. This very well could be the last meeting for you to express your frustration at Romspen executives.

If you haven’t read Romspen’s Q1 report for 2025, you should. Each unit holder will receive less than 5 cents for the quarter. What does that mean? This means another year of eating cat food for Romspen’s senior investors.

It also means things at Romspen are far worse than what Romspen is telling the media.

Last year, Romspen executives didn’t try to candy coat the issues facing the company is having. That is how bad things are at Romspen. This year, it will be worse. Much worse. Why?

Romspen had high hopes with their highly deceptive Loan-To-Own scam. They hoped it would reap big windfalls. Unfortunately, their desperate gambit to save the company backfired. The North American commercial real estate market values are plummeting faster than contestants on a Japanese gameshow.

Additionally, senior citizens investing their retirement savings in Romspen’s “high-yield” real estate ventures have stopped investing.

To add insult to injury, victims of Romspen’s Loan-To-Own scam are fighting back. Some are having success thwarting Romspen’s foreclosure attempts. This forces Romspen executives to spend millions of dollars on litigation to cover their collective posteriors while the company slides into insolvency.

Will Wesley Roitman Show Up For The Meeting Hopped On Drugs?

There is one question Romspen investors keep asking. Will Romspen General Partner Wesley Roitman show up hopped on drugs like he did last year?

Was Wesley Roitman was hopped up on crack or cocaine at last year’s meeting? That was the real question investors wanted answers to. After all, they invested their retirement savings into Romspen based on Roitman’s sales pitch with sunshine and rainbows.

First, the Romspen General Partner showed up to the meeting sporting a 1970s style Mike Brady perm. We haven’t figured out if Wesley Roitman is sporting a natural Jewfro or if he uses Jheri Curl.

Roitman showed up at the meeting dressed like it was 1976. He gave the impression he was on his way home from Studio 54 after partying with Margaret Trudeau.

But what was most disturbing was Wesley Roitman’s fidgety and drug addict like behavior. He acted like a coke addict jonesing during his first day at a detox center. He didn’t know what to do with his hands or his sunglasses. First, they were on, then they were off. He was obviously under the influence of something.

Roitman kept nervously playing with his sunglasses. He then placed his face on his hands. He literally looked like someone who was on drugs.

As the meeting went on, the more fidgety Roitman got. He just couldn’t sit still. He also kept crossing his arms in front of him. Body language experts say this is a very negative posture. It is a sign of defensiveness and disinterest. It is a sign the person is putting up a barrier to try to protect himself from the crowd.
